Blas follows a strict curriculum that he has created over the years and is
suitable for all levels both for men and women. Sometimes
known as Thai kickboxing, Muay Thai is a striking martial art from
Thailand that is practiced in large parts of the world. Muay Thai Kickboxing is great for Self-Defense
and offers a great workout to get in amazing shape! Muay
Thai has a long history in Thailand and is the country's national sport. Unlike
its ancient predecessor, Muay Boran (Ancient Boxing), Muay Thai uses kick
and punches in a ring with
gloves similar to those used in Western Boxing.

| Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) | |

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial art and
combat sport that focuses on ground fighting techniques. It is based and has
origins with traditional Japanese Jiu Jitsu. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu allows for a
smaller, weaker person to be successful in defending themselves against a
bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage; most notably, by applying
joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat them. |

Mixed martial arts training draws from many
styles, but ultimately joining two methods: Striking and Ground
Fighting. Techinques and concepts from the following will be taught and used: -Muay Thai -Brazilian Jiu Jitsu -Wrestling (Catch and Freestyle) -Boxing -Judo -San Soo Here at Core Fight Academy we bring our experience in many martial arts to develop a complete Martial Artist. Understanding all aspects of a fight and becoming well versed in the different ranges of fighting will allow for greater adaptability to most any situation. Be it for competitive fighting (MMA) or practical self-defense. *Mixed Martial Art classes are only offered through our Unlimited Membership Program. |
